The Birmingham Logo
A logo and identity for Birmingham, the second city of England and the UK.
In 3 main logos, ("B" Initial, "Brum" nickname version and full "Birmingham") using an edited version of the Baskerville typeface designed in the 1750s by Birmingham businessman, printer and type designer John Baskerville.
The thick serif letters create a friendly and warm identity, with a bull, the main symbol of the city, represented via horns and tail added in the negative space.
